چکیده

The ionome is defined as the mineral element composition of an organism or tissue and genetically environmentally influenced. Although nutrient deficiency changes plant ionome, differences among different species have not been elucidated fully. In present study, we examined ionomic responses to in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), maize (Zea mays sunflower (Helianthus annuus soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) understand response species. plants were cultivated fields with four fertilizer treatments: complete fertilization, without nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium. Each was sampled just before flowering stage, concentrations each organ analyzed. species-specific nonspecific accumulation by treatment observed elements. Under phosphorus deficiency, showed a variation profile than other species, particularly increased many metal Increased elements all under potassium deficiency. nitrogen leaf molybdenum non-leguminous plants. An unknown role metabolic predicted. To carry out further research based on results such ionomics studies may reveal function essential

Effect of mycorrhiza application on plant growth and nutrient uptake in cucumber production under field conditions

Mycorrhiza application in horticultural production in the Eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey has been studied under field conditions for several years. The effects of different arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have been evaluated under field conditions for cucumber production. The parameters measured were seedling survival, plant growth and yield, and root colonization. In 1998 and 1999, ...

Differences in Survivability under Starvation Conditions Among Four Species of Purple Nonsulfur Phototrophic Bacteria

Survivability under carbon-starvation conditions was investigated in four species of purple phototrophic bacteria: Rhodopseudomonas palustris, Rhodobacter sphaeroides, Rhodospirillum rubrum, and Rubrivivax gelatinosus. All these test organisms survived longer in the light than in the dark. ATP levels in the cultures were maintained in the light, which indicated that survivability was supported ...

Plasticity of the Arabidopsis root system under nutrient deficiencies.

Plant roots show a particularly high variation in their morphological response to different nutrient deficiencies. Although such changes often determine the nutrient efficiency or stress tolerance of plants, it is surprising that a comprehensive and comparative analysis of root morphological responses to different nutrient deficiencies has not yet been conducted. Since one reason for this is an...

Aggregate Size Distribution Indices Influenced by Different Types/Managements of Plant Residues under Field Conditions

1- INTRODUCTION Nowadays, environmental aspects of soil erosion are specifically considered by researchers. In this regard, secondary (aggregate) particle size distribution (SPSD) is so important in different issues such as nutrient loss, pollutant transport and carbon cycle. Aggregate size distribution is known as the representative of soil structure, which is by itself regarded as a dynami...

The responses of potato cultivars to osmotic and temperature stresses under in vitro conditions

In order to investigate the responses of potato plantlets under in vitro conditions to osmotic and temperature stresses, a factorial experiment was carried out in a completely randomized design with three replications. Each replicate contained a glass jar with 5 explants grown in it. The first...
